As VP of Digital Marketing & Content Creation, Matt is integral to the success of Tarkenton Financial’s marketing offerings and recruiting efforts. With a decade-plus of experience in the financial services industry, Matt has a deep understanding of the needs, challenges and opportunities facing independent financial professionals as they market themselves to new clients. Matt’s expertise in digital marketing strategies is shown across hundreds of advisor workshops and lead generation campaigns that have generated millions in new premium for advisors. Matt also leads Tarkenton’s studio and animation productions, creating unique, educational, and impactful video content that helps advisors explain financial concepts, motivate potential clients, or tell the story of their firm. Matt puts his extensive skillset to work every day to help our advisors market themselves well, increase sales, and gain more clients. Matt is a proud Crimson Tide fan and holds a Master’s degree in marketing from the University of Alabama. He and his wife have three sons, age 8,6, and 5, and when it’s not all transformers or dinosaurs, Matt is usually golfing, gaming, or guitaring.
